We are looking for a Senior BA to support our Public Sector client, with the ability to translate product vision into user stories and acceptance criteria, facilitating efficient communication between Product Manager and Tech Lead. The ideal consultant will be able to create clear and concise requirements traceable throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business and end-user needs, and analyse current and future states, identifying options to address issues and inefficiencies in business and technical processes. Additionally, they will be able to conduct research and analysis of People, Organisation, Processes, Information (and Data), and Technology to understand the business or business area.
Key Skills:
Agile working: Identify, compare, and implement best delivery methods. Manage outcomes, prioritise work, and adhere to MVP, priorities, and scope.
Business analysis: Identify and communicate complex business problems and opportunities. Inform tactical and strategic decision-making.
Business modelling: Lead process, system, and data modelling across projects or programs, managing proposed changes.
Business process improvement: Identify and lead business performance improvement opportunities. Design and implement process and business changes.
Business process testing: Apply business analysis and evaluation skills to support business process tests and usability evaluations.
Methods and tools: Build capability in methods and tools and ensure their consistent and effective use.
Requirements definition and management: Advise on requirements management and traceability throughout projects.
Stakeholder relationship management (business analysis): Communicate with stakeholders, clarify needs, and build relationships at all levels.
Systems analysis: Identify and analyse IT system capabilities, develop system requirements, and assess the impact of software changes.
Testing (business analysis): Recommend testing value, develop acceptance criteria, and review test outcomes.
User experience analysis: Analyse, prioritise, and validate user experience needs to inform system design.
Technical Skills:
Serverless applications hosted on AWS, utilizing Lambda, ECS, Step Functions & API Gateway.
Experience in Java, JavaScript, Docker & OAuth2.
Experience with CI/CD delivery using GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
This assignment will commence in August, with an expected duration of 2-3 months, with possibility for extension. The consultant must be willing and able to undertake BPSS vetting. This is a hybrid assignment, with 1 day per week in London, and it is outside IR35.
